This<strong> event concluded an artistic and personal research journey that began in 2011<\/strong> when Valeri visited the <strong>orphanage <\/strong>in Zippori near Nazareth. The orphanage, run by Catholic nuns with Jewish, Muslim, and Christian volunteers, was a <strong>symbol of interfaith tolerance <\/strong>that profoundly impacted the artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project generated other artistic experiences, culminating in &#8220;An Iron Ring,&#8221; a physical\/mental workshop for children and adults in the Carlo Scarpa Hall at the MAXXI.
